Africa Business Convention 2025
Africa's economies have faced significant shocks since 2020, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russian-Ukraine war, and tightened financial conditions. As a result, many African economies have not recovered to pre-2020 GDP levels or returned to their early 2010s growth trajectory. Despite these challenges, progress is being made in trade through the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Additionally, some countries have successfully raised funds through Eurobonds. To resume strong growth, Africa requires significant investment. The AFRICA INVEST initiative aims to address this need.
