This global initiative seeks groundbreaking ideas that address pressing challenges related to climate resilience and food security.
Aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, the 2025 THRIVE Global Impact Challenge focuses on six key themes to drive innovation and build a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable future for agriculture and food systems:
• Regenerative Agriculture
• Artificial Intelligence & Automation
• Animal Health & Nutrition
• Clean Energy & Climate Tech
• Water & Waste Management
• Post Harvest & FoodTech
Benefits of Participation
Startups that participate in the challenge will have the opportunity to showcase their solutions at the THRIVE Global Impact Summit in Silicon Valley. Three finalists from each of the six themes will be selected to pitch their ideas, and all finalists will receive significant benefits, including:
• Two complimentary tickets to attend the summit and a pre-summit networking reception
• A personalized pitch coaching session led by an expert coach to refine their presentations
• Exposure to top industry leaders during a Virtual Pitch Day
• A dedicated booth at the summit startup showcase for greater visibility
• The opportunity to win the THRIVE Global Impact Challenge Award, along with an investment from SVG Ventures of up to $1 million.
Criteria for Selection
To be considered for the Global Impact Challenge, applicants must meet specific criteria that demonstrate their potential to deliver innovative and scalable solutions addressing critical challenges in agriculture and food systems. Eligible applicants should meet the following requirements:
• Seed to Series A stage for startups
• Global applicants are welcome
• Alignment with summit themes
•A proven climate and environmental impact
