AfriLabs Secures $150,000 Donation from Airbnb Community Fund

AfriLabs, the largest pan-African network of innovation and technology hubs, is thrilled to announce the approval of a generous $150,000 unrestricted donation from the Airbnb Community Fund. This funding will enable AfriLabs to continue its work in supporting innovation hubs across Africa, empowering entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth.

The Airbnb Community Fund is dedicated to supporting organizations that make a tangible difference in critical areas, including environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, mental health, and the prevention of abuse and exploitation. By partnering with AfriLabs, Airbnb reinforces its belief in the transformative potential of innovation hubs to drive social and economic development across the continent.

This unrestricted donation provides AfriLabs with the flexibility to allocate funds where they are most needed, ensuring the organization can adapt to emerging challenges, promote collaboration, and scale its initiatives to support over 500 innovation hubs and thousands of entrepreneurs throughout 53 African countries.
