Employer-focused startup myInterview secures $11 million in Series A funding to aid in recruiting Gen Z workforce

15 Jun 2023

myInterview, a smart video interviewing software company, announced on Monday that it has raised $11 million in a Series A funding round led by existing investors Aleph and Entrée Capital and including new investor Jesselson Capital as well as SeedIL Ventures, Digital Horizon, and Ocean Azul Partners. Amalia Bercot has also been named co-CEO of the company.
By leveraging asynchronous video and AI to provide a more tailored candidate experience and cut time to hire by 70%, myInterview's technology streamlines the recruitment process for companies. The tool has proven especially popular among Generation Z workers, who have used it to get jobs in retail and hospitality, two industries that are likely to experience a rise in Gen Z representation in the workforce in the coming years.

"We are seeing a radical change in the market when it comes to a new generation of employees and their relationship to work," said Benjamin Gillman, co-founder of myInterview. "With unprecedented attrition rates, now more than ever, organizations need to be pushing the bar when it comes to candidate engagement." "We have experienced tremendous momentum over the past two years, and this new funding will further help us to tackle the unprecedented labor shortages we’re seeing by better sourcing and engaging candidates through a much more personalized approach."
Since its inception in 2016, myInterview has served over 10,000 customers, including 7-Eleven, Ocado, Facebook, and Six Flags, and conducted over 7 million candidate interviews.
