Flutterwave Partners with Africa Fintech Summit to Host 2023 Summit in Washington DC

Flutterwave, Africa's leading payments technology company, has teamed up with The Africa Fintech Summit to host its upcoming summit on April 12, 2023, in Washington DC. Flutterwave is the event's main sponsor and has recently received licenses allowing it to become an official payment service provider in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Flutterwave's CEO, Olugbenga 'GB' Agboola, expressed excitement about the partnership, acknowledging the summit's role in developing and shaping the African fintech industry. Flutterwave has processed over 400 million transactions worth $25 billion to date, serving over one million businesses globally since it was founded in 2016.

The Africa Fintech Summit is the largest bi-annual financial technology gathering on the African continent, and its 9th edition will focus on fintech regulatory best practices, diaspora banking & remittance, African fintechs expanding globally, cross-border payment movements & use-cases for decentralized finance (Defi), fintech funding trends, cross-border payments under the AfCFTA, and US-Africa tech connections.
Flutterwave's continued sponsorship of the summit as the lead fintech sponsor for both the April and November events reflects the company's impactful, progressive, and innovative approach to enabling the fintech ecosystem in Africa and beyond.
