SafeBoda Back on Kenyan Roads After Three-Year Break

15 Jun 2024

Get ready, Nairobi! SafeBoda, the motorcycle taxi app, is roaring back onto the scene after a three-year absence. They'll be hitting the streets again on February 10th, 2024, and they're promising a smoother ride this time around.

SafeBoda first rolled into Kenya in 2018, hoping to make motorcycle taxis safer and more reliable. But in 2020, things got bumpy. COVID-19 hit hard, and the company had to say goodbye to Nairobi for a while.

Now, they're back with a grin and a countdown clock on their website. They're promising three things: safe rides, easy rides, and rides that won't break the bank. They've been busy learning from their mistakes and improving their game in Uganda and Nigeria, where they've been zooming around for years.

Nairobi already has other motorcycle taxi apps like Bolt boda and UberBoda, but SafeBoda says they're not worried. They're confident their focus on safety and affordability will win over hearts and helmets.

So, buckle up, Nairobi! SafeBoda's back, and they're ready to take you wherever you need to go.
