Wema Bank Launches AlatPay to Empower Small Businesses.

Wema Bank has launched AlatPay, a new digital payment solution designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) digitize their operations. The launch event was held at the Four Points by Sheraton in Lagos.

Tunde Mabawonku, Executive Director of Retail and Digital Business, highlighted the future of cardless payments. He stated, "AlatPay enables merchants to conduct transactions effortlessly, providing a secure and efficient payment engine."

AlatPay aims to support Nigerian merchants by simplifying global transactions. It offers easy setup, multiple payment options, secure transactions, instant payments, and customizable storefronts. Businesses can get started by visiting AlatPay.NG, creating a merchant profile and choosing their preferred payment channels.

Mabawonku emphasized Wema Bank's commitment to innovation, stating, "AlatPay is designed to enhance payments and transaction acquisitions, positioning Nigerian businesses to thrive in a global marketplace."
