29 Apr 2024

Zinox Technologies Limited, a leading African technology group, has unveiled its plan to invest over $250 million in renewable energy solutions. The company aims to bring durable and cost-efficient energy options to Nigeria and Africa by partnering with renowned renewable energy firms from China, the UK, South Africa, and Dubai.
With a 23-year history of delivering tech solutions in Nigeria and other African countries, Zinox has introduced the iPOWER brand, offering solar panels, inverters, and batteries with a warranty of up to 25 years. Orders for iPOWER products will be delivered within 24 hours to major Nigerian cities, subject to availability.
During a recent business retreat attended by industry leaders, including Zinox Group Chairman Leo Stan Ekeh and Zinox Technologies Managing Director Mrs. Kelechi Eze-Okonta, Zinox emphasized its role as Africa's tech leader. Mrs. Eze-Okonta highlighted Zinox's research investments and partnerships, resulting in tested products and the forthcoming launch of an integrated Executive Mobile Energy solution.
Zinox has already deployed renewable energy solutions in over 25,000 homes, schools, and offices through collaborations with domestic partners. The company now plans to offer budget-friendly energy solutions for homes and businesses of all sizes. It will also train over 500 Nigerian engineers and technicians to provide standardized power audits, installations, and after-sales support across the country.
Zinox's commitment extends to eliminating substandard energy products in Nigeria and assuming full responsibility for the performance and service of iTEC Solar, Inverters, and Batteries. The company will work closely with stakeholders such as the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN) and local developers to address Nigeria's power supply crisis and achieve sustainable economic growth.
With a secured investment of $250 million, Zinox aims to expand access to competitive and eco-friendly electricity for Nigerian homes and businesses. The company's enterprise products and solutions will cater to off-grid solutions, estates, and hospitality businesses, alongside its successful iPOWER consumer products.
Zinox's investment in renewable energy is set to transform the Nigerian and African energy sectors, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
