OST Launches 2nd GROW Cohort, Aiming to Boost African Startups' Funding Potential

15 Aug 2024

Open Startup (OST) has announced the launch of the second cohort of its GROW Investment Readiness Program, aimed at equipping African startups with the tools and resources needed to scale their operations and secure significant funding.

Following the success of last year’s cohort, which supported 13 startups selected from over 600 applicants, the GROW program continues its mission to drive growth for African startups. This year’s program is designed for startups that have already raised up to $350,000 and are targeting their first $1 million in funding.

The 12-month program, developed in partnership with AfricaGrow, Africinvest Group, BPI France, and Go Ventures, provides a comprehensive support system that includes business assessments, personalized workshops, and one-on-one coaching. Startups will also gain access to a broad network of investors, receive financial backing to participate in international events, and benefit from expert technical assistance.

Startups eligible for the GROW program must be at the seed stage, operational for less than four years, have 2-4 co-founders with at least one African co-founder, and have a strong team with proven execution capacity. The application process is open until August 31st, and interested startups can apply through the provided link.
