The Women Techsters Initiative Fellowship Class of 2024 (WTF'24) has announced its call for applications, inviting ambitious young women from 22 African countries to apply for this unique opportunity. The fellowship is a 12-month program designed to empower African women with essential skills in the technology industry and inspire them to drive change in the tech ecosystem.
The program includes a 6-month intensive training period and a 6-month paid internship across eight different learning tracks, namely Software Development, Mobile Development, Blockchain, Product Design, Data Science and AI, Product Management, Cybersecurity, and 3D Animation & Mixed Reality (AR & VR). The Women Techsters Fellowship aims to build a community of female innovators who are passionate about using technology to solve complex problems and are interested in establishing a tech-enabled enterprise or startup.
Applicants must be African girls and women between the ages of 16 and 40 from the following countries: Nigeria, Ethiopia, Egypt, DR Congo, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Algeria, Sudan, Morocco, Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Madagascar, Liberia, Gambia, Rwanda, Zambia, Sierra-Leone, Zimbabwe, and Botswana.
